Napalm Death - 22nd September 1987

An undisputed classic.
I remember hearing this on the radio when it was broadcast, and as a young teenager I was left completely stunned and thinking "What the hell was that". Well "that" was Napalm Death, probably the finest of their ilk (although Exteme Noise Terror come a pretty close second).
I think I'm right in saying that although this session has no less than 12 tracks it's actually the shortest Peel Session ever recorded. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway this was the bands first Peel Session.

Lee Dorian - Vocals
Mick Harris - Drums/Vocals
Bill Steer - Guitar
Shane Embury - Bass

1. The Kill/Prison Without Walls/Dead
2. Deciever/Lucid Fairytale/In Extremeis
3. Blind To The Truth/Negative Approach/Common Enemy
4. Obstinate Divide/Life/You Suffer

excellent site but this session is commercially available on the 'bbc radio 1 sessions' cd. How legal is this?

I know this was made avalible on a Strange Fruit 12" in the late 1980's but as far as I know it's not avaliable now.
If I'm wrong, apoligies.

Kris,
I heard that session, too, on its first broadcast. I was also a bit frazzled.

yeah it is available on a cd called 'bbc radio 1 sessions' with all the other peel sessions they did. Tough didn't ND have some sort of vaguely anti-capitalist politics?

Thanks! Probably the polar opposite of that Orb session you put up recently. But both great.
