This was the first session from the Cocteau Twins. Formed in Grangemouth in 1982 the band caught the attention of 4AD records guru Ivo Watts and released their debut album "Garlands" in the June. Naturally John Peel was amongst the first to recognise exellence of the band and request that they visit Maida Vale to record a session. The results of which can be heard below.
Another two sessions were recorded for the program and will undoubtedly appear on this site in due course.
